The Last Mile Conference is the only nationwide event focused entirely on the intersection of industrial, manufacturing and logistics development, planning, investment, politics and place.
LAST MILE was launched by White Label in 2021 as a conference programme highlighting the importance of the manufacturing, industrial and logistics sectors. In 2025, the programme saw a brand refresh with a revamped website and a UK-wide expansion that had previously covered London and the South East.
Drawing together investors, developers, local planning authorities and industry leaders through expert keynotes, panel discussions and interactive sessions, LAST MILE considers how the sector could grow further.
Initially taking place at The Postal Museum in London, The Last Mile Conference moved to BAFTA 195 Piccadilly to accommodate an increased number of attendees and meet demands for a diverse range of space, ranging from large-scale keynotes to private roundtables.
The conference has attracted an impressive range of sponsors from the industry through the years including Prologis, Bridges and GLi.
The programme and conference grapples with impactful issues such as grid restrictions, data centres, net zero and current trends including The Industrial Strategy and the IS-8’s requirements for industrial space, and the demand for this space generated by the Government’s ambition to build 1.5m homes.
However, LAST MILE’s marketing strategies have also interacted with current events to provide some fun messaging.
With the Paris Olympics in full swing, LAST MILE looked at how monumental sporting events drives the demand for logistics space. And as England secured their space in the Euros knockout stages, ticket sales were live for “the premier league of events for industrial and logistics experts” inviting sector representatives to “stay ahead of the competition”.
And when Barbie became the summer cinema blockbuster, LAST MILE offered free tickets to delegates with the name Ken, quipping: “Barbie joined the logistics sector because she’s all about ‘packaging’ the perfect solutions!”
Each topical campaign secured above average click-to-open rates.
