Over the past year, as well as adapting to working remotely, the White Label team have also adjusted to socialising remotely. As a company, we’ve always enjoyed socialising outside of work, so we’ve got creative in finding new ways for the team to spend time together virtually.
Here’s a round-up of what we’ve been up to in the first few months of 2021:
- Virtual Book Club – We have many avid readers in the team so the first meeting in January was a great chance for everyone to share their top reads. Our reading lists are now packed with some excellent recommendations and the next meeting in April is set to be one for discussion as the team share their least favourite titles.
- Virtual Fitness Challenge – February was a good month to challenge the team to put their walking boots on, lace up their trainers, get on their bikes and step away from the screens. Over the course of the month, the team tracked their individual activity using Strava and Challenge Hound. We’re proud to say that Team White Label clocked up a total of 1,300 KM and everyone is looking forward to round two later in the year.
- Pancake Day, National Pet Day, Red Nose Day – The team have always enjoyed getting involved with and supporting awareness days, especially when they are for a good cause. Taking part virtually this year has been no different as we’ve run competitions, shared snaps from home and raised money for charities. Check out our Instagram feed to find out more about what we have been up to.
- Dome from Home – The biggest social of the year so far took place with a virtual trip to The Crystal Maze. Two teams took on the challenges of the Maze by putting their problem solving and physical skills (in front of their desks) to the test and collecting a total of 20 crystals. Well done team!
- Wine O’Clock – Since the start of lockdown Wine O’Clock has been a regular on a Friday and gives everyone a chance to stop work and hang out virtually. This time has been a great way to wind down on a Friday (with or without a drink), chat about non-work topics and look ahead to the weekend.
