Last week, the White Label team travelled to Cannes for MIPIM 2026, delivering a wide-ranging programme of events, discussions and partnerships across the global property and investment community.
The week began on Monday evening with two key gatherings. The Hounslow MIPIM Curry Night brought together local stakeholders at Palais de Jaipur for an informal evening focused on partnerships and future opportunities across the borough. At the same time, White Label hosted a ‘Go Dutch’ dinner at Le Caveau, welcoming a diverse group of industry peers and new connections ahead of the week’s programme.
Tuesday saw the launch of the London Stand programme, now in its fourth year under White Label’s delivery. The programme featured 16 panels and sessions, alongside a series of networking moments and receptions. Bringing together nearly 90 speakers from across the public and private sectors, the programme created a platform for meaningful discussion on how London’s built environment can evolve to support growth, investment and inclusive development.
Key sessions included The politics of place, which explored how shifts in leadership, policy and funding are shaping development across the capital, and Reimagining use, which examined alternative housing models and approaches to affordability and flexibility. The session on Innovative housing delivery also drew strong engagement, highlighting how public–private partnerships are unlocking viable development and delivering sustainable communities.
Wednesday morning opened with the Slough is Now Breakfast at Playlist Café, delivered in partnership with Slough Borough Council, Berkeley Group and SEGRO. The session provided an opportunity for early networking, alongside a welcome address from Pat Hayes, Executive Director of Housing and Property at Slough Borough Council. The day also marked the start of the UK Cities & Partners roundtable programme which ran across the Wednesday and Thursday, with four sessions convening senior representatives from government, cities, investors and industry.
These roundtables focused on key themes including housing delivery, infrastructure investment, the role of culture and sport in driving growth, and the development of innovation districts. Discussions centred on how to move from strategy to delivery, with a strong emphasis on partnership, funding models and creating investable opportunities across the UK.
The programme brought together a broad range of organisations, including local authorities, universities, investors, developers and advisory firms, reflecting the collaborative approach required to deliver complex, large-scale projects.
Later that evening, White Label delivered the Darna Project Management Dinner at Möye, alongside providing full diary management support for the client throughout the week. This service ensured a structured and effective schedule, enabling maximum value from the event.
Thursday provided an opportunity for more informal engagement, including attendance at the LDN Collective dinner hosted by Max Farrell.
The successful delivery of this year’s MIPIM programme was made possible by a dedicated team effort. Big shout out to Katharine Glass, Julie Leggatt, Amy Walsh, Bonnie Ross, Raj Singhal, Samyama Kolhapuri, Tom Harris and Sian Wilde.
MIPIM once again provided a valuable platform to strengthen existing relationships and establish new connections. The week reflected the importance of collaboration in driving forward investment, development and placemaking across the UK.
