Following a high-impact start to the year, UK Cities & Partners (UKCAP) – the strategic investment platform delivered by White Label – is accelerating its mission to connect global capital with UK opportunities through a bold mix of national and international events.

After hosting a successful Private Investor Dinner in London in January and a high-level Investor Reception at MIPIM, UKCAP is now going on the road with a new On-Location event series. These focused, regional gatherings are designed to deepen collaboration between cities, investors, developers and advisors – helping unlock the next wave of investment to support the UK’s growth agenda.

Kicking off the On-Location series, Cambridge hosted the first event on Thursday 1 May. As one of the UK’s leading innovation cities, Cambridge provides the perfect backdrop to explore how science and tech clusters are built, financed and scaled.

The half-day programme – hosted in partnership with new UKCAP Strategic Partner, Bidwells and Science & Innovation partner, The Supercluster Board – brought together a cross-sector audience to discuss public-private investment, placemaking, and the role of innovation in powering regional economies.

The rest of the year is shaping up to be just as ambitious, with a packed schedule of events aimed at growing the platform’s reach and impact. Highlights include:

• 20–22 May – UKREiiF: Supporting UKCAP cities and partners on the ground in Leeds.
• 5 June – The Scientific Superpower Conference – providing national partnership and engagement alongside hosts, The Supercluster Board and Bidwells.
• June – UKCAP Investor Forum: An invite only meeting for city representatives to activate new investor engagement.
• July–Sept – UKCAP On-Location: Two further city hosted programmes in development.
• 11 Sept – EXPO REAL UK Preparedness Meeting and Launch Reception – establishing our coordinated UK mission for Germany with a month to go.
• 6–8 Oct – EXPO REAL: UKCAP returns to Munich to host the UK Investment Pavilion, to showcase opportunities and engage an international investment community.

This investment programme is backed by a growing partnership that spans UK Government, eight city regions, and strategic and specialist partners including Aviva Investors, Bidwells, Clifford Chance, AECOM, Drees & Sommer, Lockton, Moore Kingston Smith, Shoosmiths, Stride Treglown, The Supercluster Board and Trowers & Hamlins.

UKCAP continues to offer a platform for city regions, project promoters and institutions looking to pitch major UK investment opportunities as part of a collective national offer.
