A live panel debate broadcast from Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden for Hertfordshire LEP’s Annual Conference created an exciting and dynamic new hybrid event format for the White Label events team.
They broadcast a series of presentations and live debates from the hi-tech Screening Room at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden across zoom in real-time, enabling more than 200 virtual delegates to take part in Q&As, chaired by CNN reporter Anna Stewart.
The conference, facilitated by White Label, shone the spotlight firmly on the county’s film and TV sector which is fast becoming the new ‘Hollywood’ and featured a stellar line-up of speakers, including Dan Dark, OBE, Executive Vice President, Warner Bros. worldwide studio operations; Caroline Cooper, COO, Sky Studios; Dean Russell MP for Watford; Deirdre Wells OBE, CEO, Visit Herts and Go To Places; Cllr Morris Bright MBE, Chair, Board of Directors, Elstree Studios and David Conway, Chief Financial and Operations Officer, ITN.
The live event discussed how Hertfordshire is growing a world-class cluster of film and TV industries and identified how best to stimulate future investment, drive local job creation and spearhead skills development.
