Christmas campaign and driving success in two town centres

Families packed into Croydon town centre last month as children’s favourites PJ Masks helped kick-off six weeks of festivities at the Christmas Launch Night.

White Label helped deliver the event on behalf of Croydon Business Improvement District (BID). A fun-packed afternoon of children’s entertainment was enjoyed by all before Young Mayor, William Awomoyi and Deputy Youth Mayor Shea Williams joined the PJ Masks characters to kick-start the Christmas celebrations with the all-important switch-on reveal.

The evening was the culmination of weeks of hard work from the White Label team, having been awarded the contract from the BID to organise and run the event, as well as design all of the marketing materials and deliver the PR campaign.

We continue to work with Croydon BID on their day-to-day communications, assisting the successful delivery of their social media channels, updating their website with relevant news stories and writing press releases to promote their work.

Matthew Sims, Croydon BID, Chief Executive Officer, said: “White Label have been ever present as Croydon BID has developed over the past ten years providing limitless experience, knowledge and expertise in our mission to deliver value to our levy payers.

“Their unique understanding of the BID industry, the approach required and indeed the challenges we face as an organisation has served as a real asset when creating, developing and executing marketing, communications (print and digital), events and PR.

“Above all else, the team is dynamic, fast-moving, approachable and incredibly enthusiastic – qualities that are hard to come by. We would recommend White Label in an instant.”

In addition to the project with Croydon BID, our team have been working closely with HammersmithBID over the past three months.

Following our first campaign with HammersmithBID earlier this year – promoting and event managing their Summer Festival – we secured an ongoing contract to assist them with their PR, communications and marketing.

The work includes posting regular stories on the two BID websites, managing all their social media channels and advising their team on any communication issues.

We have also helped them with the launch of the Made in H&F Pop-Up shop. The BID have worked together with Hammersmith & Fulham Council to transform an empty unit in Kings Mall shopping centre into a bright, well-designed outlet, showcasing the best arts, crafts and clothing from talented local makers.

White Label are running all the shops’ social media channels – keeping customers up to date with the offers and activities available at the store in the run up to Christmas. Follow the latest updates on Twitter and Instagram @madeinhf.

Our design and digital experts are also working on a brand new HammersmithBID website that will be launching in early 2019.
