The Chapman Barrigan Lectures are a new series of talks celebrating female leadership in the real estate field.
The inaugural event took place on 19 April 2023, from 6pm to 9.30pm, at Goldman Sachs International, 25 Shoe Lane, London EC4A 4AU, along with a post-event reception featuring drinks and canapes.
The event will continue the legacy of the Honor Chapman Memorial Lectures that began in 2014 in memory of urban planning and property expert Honor Chapman.
Following the sad death of Trish Barrigan of PineBridge Benson Elliot in August 2020, the lecture series has been relaunched as the Chapman Barrigan Lectures – to remember Trish alongside Honor.
The first Chapman Barrigan Lecture, on the theme of reputation and trust in the property industry, was delivered by Liz Peace CBE, former CEO of the British Property Federation and current chair of Real Estate Balance, and the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC).
White Label facilitated the event. Associate Director, Bonnie Stephensmith, said: “As a company working in the property sector, founded by women with women making up more than half of our senior management team, it has been a privilege to help launch the Chapman Barrigan lectures and help to inspire a new generation of women in real estate.”
