Building Community, Creativity and Connection: White Label’s Social Value in Action

At White Label, our purpose has always gone beyond delivering great creative work, it’s about creating impact. Across the year, our team has continued to invest time and energy into giving back to the communities where we live and work, building partnerships that make a difference locally.

From hands-on volunteering to mentoring young people and supporting local charities, these initiatives reflect our belief that creativity and collaboration should serve a wider social good.

The team spent an afternoon volunteering at Heathfield Ecology Centre, swapping laptops for gardening gloves and lending a hand to help maintain this much-loved green space in the heart of Croydon. Between weeding, tidying, and trimming back thorns, the day was a chance to connect, collaborate, and give something tangible back to the local environment.

We also had the pleasure of spending time with Year 10 students at Oasis Academy Shirley Park, running a marketing and events workshop that explored how creative ideas become real-world experiences. Our team shared insight into the process behind bringing events to life – from planning and promotion to on-the-day delivery – and were blown away by the students’ creativity and enthusiasm.

Some of our team members quite literally stepped up – and stepped off – by taking part in the Jump Croydon 2025 Charity Abseil, raising funds for fantastic local causes through Croydon Commitment. It was a reminder that courage, teamwork and community spirit go hand in hand – even when you’re 100 feet in the air!

Next up, we’re proud once again to be coordinating the Croydon Careers Fair, returning on 11 November at Mosaic East. Now in its third year, the event connects hundreds of local people with employers, workshops, and training opportunities – from mock interviews and CV clinics to sessions on financial wellbeing. It’s an event that embodies what social value is all about: helping people unlock potential, grow confidence, and build brighter futures.

Together, these initiatives represent more than a series of one-off activities – they’re part of our ongoing commitment to doing business responsibly, creatively, and with purpose.

Because when we say we help put places on the map, that starts with investing in the people who make those places thrive.
