In today’s fast-paced digital world, where information is primarily consumed online, it may come as a surprise that printed newspapers still hold significant value. At White Label we are keen to demonstrate the enduring power of print media by creating custom newspapers for both our client Barwell, as well as our not-for-profit community interest company, Develop Croydon. These newspapers serve as a dynamic and tangible tool for disseminating vital information, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and enhancing the overall communication strategy of both companies.
While the digital landscape has revolutionised information sharing, there remains a distinct charm and authenticity associated with print media. We recognise the unique advantages of printed newspapers, leveraging their design expertise to transform this traditional medium into a modern and impactful communication tool.

Barwell, a high specification, flexible industrial and hybrid office business park, have embraced our creative approach; recognising the unparalleled benefits of printed news, to circulate updates to the 60 brands and businesses who call Barwell home. ‘Barwell Today,’ a twice-yearly dedicated publication for Barwell Business Park in Chessington, features news from the park and the businesses based there, aiming to positively promote their successes. Barwell Today also features news from the wider community to forge links between the park and the area in which it is located.
The newspaper is designed by our fantastic designers and published online as well as in print for distribution to park occupiers. Content is compiled from occupier contributions with Barwell’s own content written by our in-house communications team.
For Develop Croydon, printed newspapers act as a complementary component of our community interest company’s overall communication strategy – reinforcing our popular digital presence. By strategically combining print and digital media, we have maximised Develop Croydon’s reach and engagement potential across the borough. The printed newspaper, which is distributed to partners across Croydon, serves as an extension of the online platform, providing an avenue to showcase significant built-environment and inward investment updates, achievements, initiatives, and community-focused content, ensuring that key messages reach a diverse audience.

White Label also demonstrates a profound awareness of the environmental consequences associated with printing. In each paper run, we exhibit a commitment to prudent resource management by ordering only the necessary quantity. Moreover, we wholeheartedly embrace the use of fully recyclable paper and employ environmentally-friendly printing techniques. As an additional measure, all distribution is conducted via pedestrian means, further minimising our carbon footprint.
White Label’s delivery of Barwell and Develop Croydon news, highlights the enduring power of printed newspapers as a potent communication tool. In an increasingly digital world, incorporating print media into our communication strategies for both companies, has demonstrated the businesses’, and our own, commitment to delivering information in a dynamic, accessible, and community-centric manner.
