"The summit was really well attended and there was a real buzz of energy throughout the afternoon. So many attendees and speakers spoke about the impact that BIG South London has had and the opportunities that it can create."

Five South London boroughs collaborate towards innovation and economic growth

White Label Creative were appointed by the South London Partnership (SLP) to plan and deliver their inaugural BIG South London Business, Innovation & Growth Summit in 2022.

The Business, Innovation and Growth (BIG) Summit and Showcase brought together stakeholders from across higher education, local authorities and businesses to discuss how innovation can be developed to support jobs, skills and economic development across the five South London boroughs (Merton, Kingston, Richmond, Sutton and Croydon).

SLP tasked White Label with expanding BIG in 2022 to incorporate a showcase exhibition and awards ceremony alongside the summit.

To bring the event to life, White Label developed the summit’s programme, coordinated the speakers and speaker briefings, created a digital marketing campaign leading up to the event, and posted live on social media throughout the day.

This activity sat alongside our events team who managed the overall logistics of the event which was held at Kingston University’s award-winning Town House, with a format that included keynote speakers and panel discussions, an exhibition, an awards ceremony and a post-event drinks reception. A total of 288 delegates attended the conference, 42 exhibitors participated, and 43 speakers spoke. White Label gained an impressive online interaction, achieving 5,231 website views, 67,136 unique email opens, 25,711 Twitter impressions, and 15,525 LinkedIn impressions.
