UKREiiF 2023: White Label creates impact for clients

Capital West London and Commonplace both exhibited at the UK Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF), between 16-18 May, in Leeds, with support from White Label.

This year’s UKREiiF event was attended by over 6,000 investors, developers, local authorities and consultants.

For three days, the West London delegation – consisting of Barnet, Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hounslow, West London Business and the Old Oak & Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC), alongside strategic partner Wates – met and built connections with potential partners to discuss opportunities in inward investment, generating economic growth, and driving a more sustainable and inclusive culture across the boroughs.

The White Label’s project team kept the delegation running smoothly by coordinating each borough’s attendance, designing and copywriting marketing materials, securing speaker opportunities and hosting two receptions – one for Capital West London in partnership with Wates and a sustainability breakfast for Barnet Council in partnership with EY. Examples of brochures produced for Harrow, Hounslow and Barnet, in partnership with Related Argent, can be seen on the Capital West London resources page.

White Label’s design team also created eye-catching stands for both Capital West London and the online citizen engagement platform Commonplace, including dynamic content for screens and interactive iPad terminals.

Julia Owen, Project Manager at White Label said: “The stands had a great footfall and our client feedback was very positive. We are glad that our team’s hard work led to such great results in terms of design, delegate engagement and place promotion. We had so many one-to-one conversations and met a great number of new contacts, which will support our growth and that of the clients and places we were representing.

“One of the most fun events of the week was Barnet Council and EY’s BarNET ZERO vegetarian breakfast that we hosted at The Tetley. On arrival, we served delegates liquid orange and ginger shots encased in a seaweed bubble, made by Notpla. They were 100% plastic-free, vegan, and naturally biodegradable – and began the conversation around sustainability in an engaging way.”

Bonnie Stephensmith, Associate Director at White Label said: “We had a great time meeting old and new industry friends, supporting Commonplace’s stand and hosting the Capital West London delegation and events.

“We were delighted that the sun shone in Leeds for a second year running at the event, and UKREiiF has a great setting for networking by the canal. It was a very busy but very enjoyable week.”

The next Capital West London event is their Growth Summit, taking place at The Drum, Wembley on Tuesday 20 June. Secure your place now: https://cwlgrowthsummit.co.uk/book/
