"This event is a fantastic opportunity to show us and the country, that Croydon’s entrepreneurs are ready to take the lead, putting London back in business."

Paul Scully MP, Minister for London and Minister for Small Business, Consumers & Labour Markets

Supporting Croydon's economic recovery and showcasing the innovation and drive of Croydon-based businesses.

White label Creative were appointed by Croydon Council to create and run an in-person Economic Summit and Business Expo in March 2022 to support Croydon’s economic recovery. Due to client’s tight deadline, the two hugely-popular events, which were free-to-attend, were successfully planned and delivered in less than seven weeks. The Economic Summit took place at Boxpark Croydon and featured keynote speeches from figures including Minister for London and Minister for Small Business, Consumers & Labour Markets Paul Scully MP and Croydon Central MP Sarah Jones, alongside two interactive panel discussions with expert speakers considering the role jobs and skills play in creating a more inclusive, greener and resilient Croydon.

Following the morning delegates moved to the nearby Electric House – home to London South Bank University’s Croydon Campus – for the Business Live Expo. Attendees had the opportunity to meet more than 50 local businesses and organisations who were showcasing their products and services, as well as attend a seminar programme focusing on emerging trends in digital media, selling goods and services to Croydon Council, a property advice service taster workshop and top tips on how to grow a great new business. Delegates were also able to partake in 1-2-1 business advice clinics with local business support organisations.
