What we were asked to do
White Label pitched its Big Breakfast speed networking concept to Ikea in 2011 when the store was looking to develop a strategy to support their business card membership.
How we did it
Big Breakfast is one of the first networking events based on speed dating, where delegates are given a few minutes with a number of other delegates. It produces high quality networking and is now one of the most successful networking events in London. The monthly events regularly bring more than 80 new business people into the store every month and build Ikea's business client database.
And the results speak for themselves
In the first full year, more than 500 people attended the events, with most signing up for the store's business loyalty card.
The event has also been taken to Ikea's other London stores in Tottenham, Wembley and Thurrock Lakeside, as well as the We Mean Business Expo and Start Up Croydon entrepreneur event.
