What we did
The London Borough of Bexley wanted to host an awards scheme to recognise the many thriving businesses in the town. The council also wanted a prestigious event befitting the borough's ambitious companies. White Label organised and promoted the entire event from the launch, through the judging to the glittering black tie Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony for 220 guests at Bexleyheath Marriott Hotel on 5th October, 2017.
How we did it
White Label oversaw the entire awards process, from organising the launch party, through to the overall management of the awards entry and judging process and final Gala Awards Dinner. They attracted excellent sponsorship for the 13 awards categories and final gala event, including the blue chip brand, Ocado, as headline sponsor for a second year. The awards marketing and PR, attracted a healthy entry, with the shortlist of 84 businesses representing 57 different firms, with 38 first-time entrants. White Label also achieved wide-ranging press and social media coverage to promote and raise the profile of the Awards. The prestigious awards evening at Bexleyheath Marriott Hotel marked the climax of the 2017 Awards in association with Ocado. Guests at the Gala Dinner, hosted by TV and radio presenter Becky Ives, enjoyed a networking drinks reception, a fabulous three course dinner, and were entertained by singers from the internationally famous Bird College of Dance, Music and Theatre in Sidcup, before the announcement of the winners.
