What we did
The Peabody Group, one of London's oldest and largest housing providers, asked White Label to event manage the first-ever Thamesmead Future Skills Expo on 29th and 30th June, 2017. White Label's role was to oversee the staging, set up and practical running of the event, as well as looking after the exhibitors across three venues in Thamesmead; The Link, The Thames Innovation Centre and Sporting Club Thamesmead.
How we did it
More 400 people attended the two-day event, which offered Thamesmead residents the chance to attend expert-led seminars and motivational workshops, as well as meet representatives from 44 leading science and technology organisations, brought together by Peabody. The housing provider's aim was to give residents the chance to learn about the training and employment opportunities offered by the latest innovations and technology. White Label assisted the exhibitors, who specialised in areas such as cyber security, 3D printing, 3D Scanning and engineering. The organisations and brands represented included Barclays, Lloyds, O2, BT and Greenwich University.
