What we were asked to do
White Label worked with the Whitgift Foundation to develop an initiative to celebrate and positively promote the organisation's local community support in the wake of recent negative publicity.
How we did it
In a relatively short period, the concept of a Heritage Festival was developed. This involved the development of a unique creative brand which was used across multiple platforms and cross-community engagement in a three week cultural festival which saw more than 50 events staged across the borough.
And the results speak for themselves
The brand engaged more than 250 local organisations. A three-week cultural festival re-energised the borough's connection with its past and effectively re-positioned the Whitgift Foundation as a community support organisation with long-standing support of Croydon. The Heritage Festival is now firmly established in Croydon's calendar as an annual event.
