Valuable new business connections are a racing certainty at The Big Breakfast networking event at Epsom Downs Racecourse on Thursday, 10th May.

South London's most successful FREE networking breakfast is paying a second visit to Epsom, following the success of last October's event which attracted over 140 business people.

Places are already going fast for the early morning event, which runs from 7.30am to 10.30am. Attendees will enjoy a free buffet breakfast and the chance to make some great new contacts in a fun and friendly environment. They also get the chance to take part in a free business card prize draw.

The networking session follows a speed dating format, with delegates taking part in a series of four minute, one-to-one pitching sessions, to maximise the number of contacts they can make.

Sponsored by London Gatwick Airport and Coast to Capital LEP, The Big Breakfast, is open to all businesses, large and small, within the Surrey, Sussex and south London areas.

Alison Addy, Gatwick Airport's Head of Community Engagement, commented: "We are really excited to once again be rolling out this fantastic networking format from its Croydon home to Epsom so businesses in Surrey can connect and grow together. The last Epsom event was really busy and successful, and I am sure the next event will be even more so."

Malcolm Brabon, Head of Services at Coast to Capital, added; "We had excellent feedback from our last visit to Epsom, where 80% of businesses were new to the event. The Big Breakfast is now a widely recognised brand and we will be delighted to welcome even more businesses from Surrey, Sussex and West Kent at Epsom."

The Big Breakfast's last visit to Epsom was a huge success, drawing a lot of praise from delegates. Jim Bolt, of in Redhill said: "I really enjoyed it and have made some great contacts. I think taking the event to Epsom attracted people from a wider area, and getting businesses to work across county borders is a very good thing."

Jessica McKechie of Alexander Hotels & Utopia Spas, which has properties across Kent, Surrey and Sussex, added "The one to one speed networking format works really well – four minutes is the perfect time slot to get across what you both do and to share contact details."

Epsom Downs Racecourse is approximately 1 mile walk or a 10 minute taxi or bus ride from Epsom Downs Station. If arriving by car, free parking is available, see website for further details.
