The popular Big Breakfast networking event is taking flight to Gatwick Airport on Thursday, June 15.
The free speed-dating for businesses initiative, sponsored by London Gatwick Airport and Coast to Capital LEP, is hugely popular with firms looking to make new contacts and generate fresh leads.
Now in its seventh year, it has grown to be one of south London's most successful networking events, regularly attracting more than 100 people to its Ikea Croydon venue.
Thanks to its success, The Big Breakfast will be held in three new locations in 2017, starting with Amy's Restaurant at the Hilton London Gatwick, on Thursday, June 15, from 7.30am to 10.30am.
Welcoming the move, Gatwick's head of community engagement Alison Addy said: "The Big Breakfast has become a hugely successful event in Croydon, and we are delighted that our sponsorship, along with partners Coast to Capital LEP, is now bringing this winning formula to Gatwick.
"We are looking forward to seeing local businesses gain new business leads and sales through the speed-networking sessions."
Based on a speed-dating format, the event starts with everyone enjoying a breakfast before the one-to-one networking starts. And it's proven to be highly successful for previous attendees.
"I've made many new contacts at The Big Breakfast – it's opened up a whole new market place to explore," said Miguel Rivera, of Tritel Communications.
Steve Mead, of Auditell LTD added: "The Big Breakfast has introduced me to business contacts that I would not have met otherwise."
Other upcoming Big Breakfasts are scheduled to be held in East Sussex and Kent, as well as its regular venue, at Croydon Ikea.
The Big Breakfast networking sessions work by having half of those attending remaining seated, while the other half change places every four minutes when the organisers sound a bell.
