Property professionals are being urged to don their tennis whites, lace up their trainers and restring their racket in time for the return of the LandAid MIPIM Tennis Classic.
The 2016 tournament raised more than £16,000 for LandAid, the property industry charity uniting to end youth homelessness, but this year organisers White Label Creative are looking to smash that figure and raise a minimum of £20,000.
Last year's event, won by Steven Skinner of headline partners BNP Paribas Real Estate, attracted more than 30 players during a fun action-packed event at Cannes Tennis Club on the south of France, close to the huge real estate show.
This year's event takes place at Cannes Tennis Club from 9am to noon on Wednesday, March 15. It costs £1,000 per competitor to take part (£500 entry fee plus a minimum of £500 in fundraising).
Founding partners of the event are Folio Facilities Management, JPW Real Estate, Inspired Homes and Lorenz Consultancy.
Sponsors are BNP Paribas Real Estate, Assael, High Access, Mills and London at MIPIM while the media partner is Property Week.
